It doesn’t get much better than sunshine and 22 degrees in May in the UK. Funny thing is, I can’t take the sun like I used to do. I went out for a walk and to eat my sandwiches in the sun. Afterwards I was very happy to come back into the shade. Must be getting old…

That’s about as warm as I like it! Not old but wiser! Cheers.

Well, I’m not so sure about the wiser bit, either! Thanks anyway Flighty. Hope you’ve had some productive time on the allotment this week.

I’ve never actively sought the sunlight, although its presence makes me much more cheerful than its absence. I’m happy to sit in the shade caressed by warm breezes.

Yep me too! I think I am a sun godess but after 20 minutes I’m done. I go a-hiding in a cool room with my newspaper. (or glossy mag!)
Long may it continue though because it certainly seems to make everyone happier!

Well seems like we’ve had our lot for a while now. I agree with you Liv – I’m normally in a better mood in summer with the longer days than in the dark days of winter. Daffy – I’m the same – when I’ve been on holiday in the Med in years gone by, I’ve never lasted long on the beach. Always ended up in the shade (normally in a bar).
