A couple of weeks ago I set up a forum for a group that didn’t want any publicity. This week however I’ve created a site (well, a form of blog) that I hope will be of use to at least some people. It’s all about Mysql, and I hope it will be of value to beginners and more advanced programmers alike. You can find it at:
www.mysql.oxford123.co.uk/blogs
One of the things I’ve noticed in learning about Mysql is that there’s plenty of info on the subject on the internet, but it’s very hard to get the info in one place. I’m hoping my new site will help new learners in that aspect. Another task I’ve set myself is to translate my entries into Spanish (on the same site). This will help me to practise my practical Spanish (especially technical jargon).
Well, this latest venture will keep me quite busy enough through my period of enforced joblessness. It is a bit frustrating to be as diligent and capable as I ever was, yet no employer seems interested. Still, I have plenty I can crack on with, and now the summer’s here I can enjoy the fresh air as and when I want.
Have a nice week all!
